Many times the outcome of a case rides on the testimony of a single witness.
Often, that witness is contradicted by a witness offered by the other side.
Both sides may be seemingly truthful, but only one of the witnesses can
prevail. Trial lawyers and psychologists have discovered many of the factors
which cause people to be liked, accepted and believed by other people. Most
have these factors have little to do with what the witnesses say. What counts
most is how they say it. We offer information that will increase the
credibility of your witness.
Where the
stakes are large, and the testimony of one or two witness can be crucial, in
criminal courts and civil, we will work with your attorneys to coach the
crucial witness "one-on-one." First we learn the case intimately, so as to
completely understand the role of the particular witness. Then we instruct,
prepare, and educate the witness, finally exposing him/her to direct and
cross-examination. We use different graphic and verbal means to illustrate how
the testimony can be made more credible. Where appropriate, we'll videotape the
testimony and work from the tape to achieve improvement. |
